No Sense and Nonsense

“This is your new husband!” announced the father.

“This is not my husband and I refuse to remarry with this Mr. Don’t Know Who...” she retorted.

However, her resistance was to no avail.

The father slapped her in the face, in front of the so-called relatives who were watching the soap opera. The relatives were supporting the father, trying to add charcoal to fire, “You should listen to your father; he knows what is best for you.”

The poor wife came back one day to realize that she has been separated by force with her newly-wed husband. And her father, together with the relatives was trying to replace the legal husband with a stranger. They did that out of greed to have a share in the family’s wealth. They were jealous and wanted to show that they were in power.

They accused the legal husband that he had failed to perform his duty to please the relatives and therefore he must go and he has to go. The husband was barred from entering his home and was kept away from the wife. And the new husband with the father’s blessings, has taken his vows...

Who is the rightful husband? The former or the latter who forced his way through?

Where is justice? You may ask...

There can be NO justice when perak becomes berak; and najis turns into nah-jeep.
