Brida

There is this story of Brida, a young Irish girl on her own pilgrimage in search for knowledge.

She sets off on a long journey and comes across a wise man who teaches her about overcoming her fears. In another occasion, she meets a woman who teaches her how to dance to the hidden music of the world.

They see in her a gift, but the journey is hers not theirs. Brida has to explore on her own, to expect the unexpected and to savour every moment of her voyage of discovery:

“But how will I know who my Soulmate is?”

“By taking the risk,” the woman said to Brida.

“By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in your search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end.”

There are many risks in life. We have to discern always what risk is worth taking and what is not.
