To Err Is Human...
I was having a plant tour at customers’ place last week. And an interesting poster caught my attention.
It read, “To err is human...”
How true the quotable quote is? No man (or woman) on earth is perfect; everyone tends to make mistakes, whether intentionally or unintentionally. I remembered the priest telling us that mistakes help us grow.
Just when I thought the company dared to be different in the corporate world in dealing with mistakes and failures, I regretted that the quote ended otherwise; it ended with a “but”.
The whole proverb read, “To err is human, but to forgive is not company policy.”
At that, I felt sudden dizziness.
